Meet The Team

Now that we are getting back into the busy season, we’ve have had so many new couples reach out for the 2021 and 2022 wedding seasons! I wanted to introduce the team, these ladies are how I am able to keep the shop running and make sure all our couples get the gorgeous flowers and service they deserve!

Meet The Team

Kelly

Hey there! I’m Kelly, I manage the day to day operations and love building meaningful friendships with our clients at Painted Primrose! When I’m not doing that, I’m soaking in all the outdoors that Colorado has to offer. Hiking with my heat-intolerant french bulldog, camping under the stars, axe-throwing with my husband, or just exploring a new trail! It’s hard to keep me inside! And even harder to keep me away from murder podcasts while driving to my next adventure. I’m a Colorado native and proud of it! After a long stretch of wedding season (I now have 6 under my belt), I love to binge a good mini series. You’ll find sea salt and vinegar chips, and a lit pumpkin candle, and my best girlfriend (my dog!) next to me.

Eri

Hi! I’m Eri, and I help out with all different areas of the shop. I like to say I am a Jill-of-All trades at the studio! From creating proposals to deliveries to organizing the shop, I am in it all. I love flowers and am so happy that I get to be around them all day! Originally, I am actually from Colorado, so I am really happy to be in the area. Painted Primrose became part of my life in 2020, after my husband and I got married. When I am not at work I spend most of my time gardening, thrifting or hanging out with my pup.

Anna

Hi! I’m Anna, a designer at Painted Primrose. I love that I get to help create beautiful florals for our couples — but I wasn’t always a florist! Before joining the Painted Primrose in 2020, I studied Information Systems at UT Austin. After that, I worked as a web developer and designer for a few years. After spontaneously getting married on a random Wednesday due to our good friend covid, my husband and I bought a house in CO. We finally moved out of Houston, TX, and I quit my tech job to see if working with flowers could be more fulfilling. Thanks to the amazing team here & the beauty of flowers, it’s been that and so much more. In my free time, I love to cook and bake for people that I love (probably a gene I inherited from my Chinese immigrant parents). We have two crazy silly corgis Captain & Bandit that I love to hang out with. Oh and I guess my husband too.

Emily

Hello! I’m Emily and I am actually the thumbs (and voice) behind most of the blog posts. I run our social media here at Painted Primrose and our sister company Bitterroot Studio. I am actually pretty new to both the Painted Primrose team, and Colorado! In May 2020, I graduated from the University of South Dakota, with a degree in English. Right after that my new husband and I packed up from South Dakota and moved to Boulder, so he could attend graduate school. I ended up with Painted Primrose kind of accidentally, when I sent Sabia an email asking if she was interested in any help. After that they say… the rest is history. I never really imagined myself in a “social media” type role, but I love to write and connect with people and blogging, Facebook and Instagram give me a really unique opportunity to do both of those things.  When I’m not busy in the shop, you can find me watering my houseplants, trying new pasta recipes or walking my quarantine fur baby, Piper.

I am so grateful to these ladies! They really do keep the shop running smoothly. Check out our other blogs, Instagram and Pinterest to see some of the gorgeous work they do!

  1. Hello!

I’m reaching out to see if I can get a few quotes from you on certain flowers arrangements. I’m getting married at The Broadmoor on 5th August of 2023 and I ran across your work and really loved it. I am trying to get an idea of what floral designs are realistic for my current budget. Below are the different floral arrangements I am interested in, I would love to know the cost per item since we have not finalized how many tables/how big our wedding party is going to be quite yet.

    Cost per centerpiece (tall)
    Cost per centerpiece (low)
    Cost per Bridesmaid bouquets
Cost for Flowers in chandeliers ( cost per chandelier?)
Cost for Ground flowers for ceremony
    Cost for Aisle decor
Cost for 3-5 Flowers arrangements for cocktail tables
Cost for Flowers for railing on balcony outside
    Cost for Flowers for fountain
    Cost for Flowers for cake
Cost for Flowers for sweet heart table
    Cost per Boutonnière
Cost for flowers in front of the bar
    Cost for Flower Door arch
    Cost for Flowers pedals
Cost for XXL flower collar (Great Dane)
Cost of a flower wall /vines
    Cost for the brides bouquet

I plan on using some combination of these arrangements and hopefully this give me clarity around how to make the most of my
    budget.

    Thanks,

I’m interested in a quote for my wedding! It’s May 13th 2023. The ceremony is at the sunrise amphitheater and the reception is at Terracotta. I’m looking for one bridal bouquet, 3 corsages, 4 boutonnières, 2 large floral pieces as decor for the ceremony, and small minimal floral decor for about 8 tables. I have a Pinterest board I can share for inspiration as well. I want a boho feel with bright, modern colors – pinks, blues, orange, and pale yellow.
