Last week we talked about trending colors for 2021. Color is back in a big way in 2021, and I am so here for it! In 2021 sage color scheme are trending big time! I am so excited about sage green’s reappearance. For the past few years emerald has been top dog in the green world, but sage is making it’s way to the top this year! A softer, more muted green this is really popular among garden brides and outdoor weddings. As outdoor weddings become more and more popular, couples lean more towards colors that can be found in nature. Sage is high on the list! Paired with terra cotta, cream and fern green, sage makes for an earthy neutral palette.

Real Wedding Highlight

In this real wedding, Leah and Greg used shades of sage, blue and grey. This made a cohesive, soft, theme for their day.

The sage green colors complemented the mountains beautifully and gave a very natural look to the day. How stunning do the two of them look in front of those mountains??

The couple chose to use neutrals in their day, and highlighted this with a “naked cake.” Allowing the color of the cake to peek through and using gold accents complemented the colors.

The couple also carried their color scheme through the wedding party. The bridesmaids wore mismatched, but complementary dresses. The flower girl wore a very cute sage dress which matched the ties of the groomsmen and fathers.
