There are so many different Colorado mountain wedding venues, and each one is unique and gorgeous. Because of this, I believe Colorado is one of the best places to get married! There really is something for everyone here. And our mountains make for THE MOST stunning backdrops. For the last few weeks I have been focusing on places to elope in Colorado (you can check those out on our blog). But of course eloping is certainly not for everyone! So, today I wanted to focus on more traditional Colorado wedding venues. Our Colorado foothills are unique because there are both city and mountain venues nearby! And, in many cases the city venues are so close to the mountains you can have your wedding in the city and your photos in the mountains. You just can’t beat Colorado!
The Woodlands is a fairly new wedding venue to Colorado. A traditional barn style venue, The Woodlands is perfect for larger weddings. There is space for everyone here! Additionally, located in Morrison, it’s just a thirty minute drive from downtown Denver- making it very convenient for guests to get to. Plus, the views up there are just stunning! The foothills really are gorgeous. The Woodlands is available for indoor or outdoor ceremonies, and there is ample space for a fun reception! The Woodlands also has super modern amenities, making your wedding a truly luxurious event. If you are looking for a traditional barn venue with modern mountain flare, you really can’t beat the Woodlands.
Located in Breckenridge, TenMile Station brings the mountain luxury to your wedding! Offering some of the most stunning and dramatic views in Breckenridge, this unique on-mountain site is the ideal setting for a true Colorado experience. The beauty and serenity of the National Forest creates a sense of intimacy. While the flavor of the West and convenient location create an authentic Colorado experience for your day!
Three Peaks Ranch
Privacy is the name of the game at Three Peaks. Family owned in Westcliffe, Colorado, Three Peaks Ranch is a private, exclusive ranch. Due the distance and seclusion, Three Peaks has some of the most beautiful views and trails you’ll ever see. Three Peaks is truly in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, 3 hours from Denver and 1.5 hours from Colorado Springs- but trust me the distance is worth it!
Located in Estes Park, Skyview Resort Village is a super modern and luxe mountain venue. This one of a kind venue features a rooftop ceremony locations. The rooftop truly does have UNBEATABLE views of the Rocky Mountains. The indoor reception area features floor to ceiling windows to take advantage of the sweeping mountains. Plus, Skyview’s proximity to the mountains means amazing photo locations. Additionally, thanks to it’s central location in Estes Park there is an abundance of places to eat, drink and stay (if the property isn’t enough for you!) Breathtaking, convenient and unique Skyview is one of my favorite mountain venues.
Also in Estes Park, The Landing is one of the newest event halls in the area. Reminiscent of an old world hall, the Landing expertly combines rustic romance with amazing upscale finishes. With room for up to 120, the event hall features an authentic barn wood bar, an enormous deck overlooking the river, large wooden beams, old world light fixtures, a cozy stone fireplace and panoramic windows that frame stunning views of Longs Peak. The Landing also only hosts one event at a time, and only one every two days so you have tons of privacy and relaxation!
Located above Estes Park, Della Terra Mountain Chateau is a true mountain venue. Secluded in an untouched band of wilderness, you’d be surrounded by the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains. With an outdoor ceremony location surrounded by mountains and an indoor location featuring floor to ceiling windows, you are never from the beauty at Della Terra. High end luxury and mountain views combine to make a fairytale wedding locale.
Of course, these are just a handful of our favorite wedding venues! There are so many in Colorado, it’s almost impossible to choose! If you don’t see your venue here, don’t be afraid to reach out!
