I wanted to take sometime today to focus on a real wedding from 2020! Laura and Brett got married on a gorgeous day in August at The Landing, in Estes Park. As we move toward wedding season 2021, I have been focusing a lot on choosing a color scheme. Choosing a scheme to suit the mood of your day is so important! You can check out my blog posts on it here if you need some inspiration! I thought focusing on a recent couple would be a great way to highlight using mood to influence your wedding day.
When thinking about the mood of your big day, it’s important to choose a color a scheme that suits the mood you are trying to get across. But, all the other details of your wedding contribute too! For example, Laura and Brett chose a more moody, darker theme for their wedding day. They then chose both a color scheme and a photographer that matched that.
For her bridal bouquet, Laura carried a gorgeous mix of roses and ranunculus. The textural foliage made for a beautiful photograph!
Laura and Brett also wanted a standout floral piece at their wedding! They worked with us to create this gorgeous chandelier installation.
Additionally, Laura and Brett carried their theme through their day by using lots of gorgeous, textural flowers on their cake.
We love the way the couple incorporated color and photography to maintain the mood of the day. In the future, they will also be able to look back on their pictures and feel exactly how they felt day of! We wish the happy couple a lifetime of joy together– and congratulations again, Laura and Brett!
