If you live in the Front Range and have attended a few weddings, chances are you’ve been to the stunning Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. If not, you must see it. Della Terra is a castle-like chateau with all the luxury you can imagine, nestled in the mountains just outside Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s always a pleasure to create Estes Park wedding flowers since the area is so spectacular. And Colleen and Dave were such a great couple to work with. Since we loved the way their wedding florals turned out, we couldn’t miss the chance to share them on the blog.
Colleen wanted deep purples and burgundies, plus bright reds in her bridal bouquet. So we got to play with some beautiful blooms and softened it up with light pink roses and some greenery. Colleen’s bridesmaids each wore different shades of burgundy and purple, so the color scheme flowed wonderfully in their photos and of course at the wedding itself. Bridesmaids carried sweet bouquets of white and greenery with trailing white ribbon.
At Della Terra, outdoors weddings take place with a majestic mountain peak directly behind the couple. To complete the ceremony space, Colleen and Dave added soft drapery to the wedding arch and we created a large floral piece to go with it. Large blooms were the name of the game for this piece, and plenty of greenery to pull in the green from the background.
We also created centerpieces for the tables at the reception using some of the same blooms from Colleen’s bouquet and continuing to blend reds, purples, and soft pinks. Overall, the wedding was lovely, and the entire team was incredible to work with. Congratulations, Colleen and Dave! And thanks to the Della Terra and all of the other vendors for being exceptional.
